Ozmo is looking for an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our growing team. As Human Resources Manager, you will be focused on all aspects of HR within the Digital Content Production department at Ozmo. This role is specifically focused on our supporting our large team of web developers. You will report directly to the Director of Digital Content Production and work alongside production-oriented peers in the department as well as the broader Admin team. This role oversees the web development team from an HR perspective and will have a support staff of one, with anticipated growth in 2019.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all employee management duties to support our matrix organization
  • Implement and revise compensation programs
  • Participate in the evolution of the organizational structure of the department ensuring team members are setup for success
  • Conduct continuous employee engagement and satisfaction surveys across all dimensions of their lives at Ozmo
  • Continuously evolving the employee performance evaluation program
  • Develop, revise, and recommend personnel policies and procedures
  • Provide oversight and administrative support to the adherence of policies and procedures
  • Share responsibility for maintaining and revising the company’s handbook as it pertains to Digital Content Production
  • Manage the employee lifecycle from recruiting through termination
  • Oversee recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job ads, screening, and hiring decisions
  • Conduct new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
  • Oversee exit interviews
  • Recommend new policies, approaches, and procedures

Requirements & qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • HR certification (such as PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred
  • A prior role focused on organizational development is a plus
  • Five or more years of cumulative experience in a people management role
  • Two or more years in a role focused on general human resources management
  • Strong problem solving skills and detail orientation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and encourage young professionals
