Temporary Administrative Assistant

Ozmo is seeking a detail-oriented, technologically-proficient Administrative Assistant to join our HR team temporarily on a full-time basis for four months starting in August or September. As a temporary Administrative Assistant, you will be focused on a variety of duties ranging from office administration to event planning to human resources. You will report directly to the Senior Human Resources Manager and work across multiple departments to keep our Ozmonauts happy and supported.

Responsibilities
  • Office Administration Duties
    • Recognize various employee milestones like birthdays and work anniversaries
    • Keep office, kitchen, and housekeeping supplies stocked
    • Reconcile corporate credit card purchases by submitting monthly expense reports
    • Prepare monthly invoices for approval
    • Help appreciate Ozmo’s customers by assisting with the annual client holiday gift process
    • Maintain office space and manage facilities requests
    • Set-up and breakdown for company all-hands meetings
    • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of company events including happy hours, tailgates, and the annual holiday party
    • Execute ad-hoc requests such as shipping packages and running office errands
       
  • Human Resources Responsibilities
    • Participate in the recruiting process by posting jobs and scheduling interviews
    • Manage the administrative components of the entire employee lifecycle from coordinating first day activities to managing the separation checklist
    • Take the performance review process cradle to grave from kicking off annual reviews to reminding people to complete their 360 feedback
    • Assist with the annual renewal and open enrollment process for all company-provided benefits
    • Use your keen eye for detail to enter data in various HR systems

Requirements and qualifications
  • One or more years of experience in an administrative role
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • ​Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, digital environment
  • Adeptness at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in a human resources role preferred
  • Proficiency with G Suite preferred

This is an onsite position at our headquarters in Blacksburg, VA.
